Alvin Barton

Services for Alvin Barton will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at Church of Deliverance with Rev. Apostle June Barton officiating. Burial will be in Church of Deliverance Eternal Rest, under the direction of Robinson Family Mortuary.

Mr. Alvin Ray Barton, age 59, of Marksville, La entered eternal rest on January 31, 2023, at Avoyelles Hospital.

Mr. Barton is preceded in death by his father, Richard Barton Sr., stepfather, Moe Davis Sr., brother Richard Barton Jr., sister Betty Jean Barton, three nephews: Justin Hyland, Willous and Demarcus Johnson.

Mr. Barton is survived by mother Leola Barton Davis, one daughter, Candance Rachel, one son, Jarell Rachel, seven brothers; Isaac Barton, Joseph Barton, Latelle Barton, Howard Barton, Paul, Wille, and Roger, two step-brothers, Edison Davis and Mose Davis Jr, five sisters Shirley Hyland, Barbara and Linda Barton, Jessie Sampson, and Daisy Clark, along with Four grandchildren and one great grand.
