Services for  Annie P. Smith will be held Saturday, March 22, 2025 at Big Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 12596 Hwy 8, Colfax, Louisiana at 11:00 am with Rev. Roosevelt Lair, Officiating.  Visitation will begin at 10:00 am and continue until start of service. 

Interment will be held at Raven Camp Baptist Church Cemetery in Colfax, Louisiana.

She leaves to cherish her memories, one daughter, Beverly (Trennis, Sr.)Edwards; one son, Charles Smith, both of Alexandria, Louisiana; one sister, Laura Tucker Burton of Pineville, Louisiana; two brothers, David Loyd and Willie (Mae) Loyd, Jr. both of Lake Charles, Louisiana; one Godchild, Bernita Loyd-Brown of Lake Charles, Louisiana; one daughter-in-law, Stacy Smith; Seven grandchildren with the oldest being Marquise Calland “Terrell”, whom she was instrumental in his early childhood upbringing; one greatgrandchild; one uncle, LC Anthony, one aunt, Annie Bell Anthony, two sisters-in-law, JoAnn Smith and Veola Loyd; A host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
