Services for Annie Scott Jefferson will be at 11:00a.m. on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at Greater Live Oak Missionary Baptist Church, 1401 Fenner Street, Alexandria, LA. Dr. James S. Hardison, Sr. will be officiating. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Mrs. Jefferson, 84, of Alexandria, LA, passed away on June 24, 2024, at Ochsner LSU Health-Shreveport. She is preceded in death by her parents: Rosalie Brooks and Oscar Scott, grandparents: Ella & Ike Brooks, (2) aunts: Izabella Brooks and Winnie Harris, (1) uncle: William Brooks, (2) brothers: James Scott & Herman Scott, (1) sister: Irma Dabney, loving son: Rodney Jefferson, cousin: Delia Rainey, great niece: Tiffany Johnson, and (2) longtime friends: Daisy Miller and Rita Hurts.

Annie’s survivors include: (3) daughters – Pamela Jefferson Jordan-Evans (Anthony), Cassandra Jefferson Nolen (JD), and LaDonna Jefferson Johnson (Elton), (6) grandchildren – Kedric Jefferson, Ashley Joubert (Ronald), Andrew Rainey, Maelani Jordan, Waymond Lee, and Alexis Flowers, (8) great grandchildren (2) great great grandchildren, oldest cousin – Dorothy Levin, sister-in-love – Vernell Howard and her “Golden Girls” – Rosalie Chalk and Margert Burns, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
