Services for Mr. Archie Gott, Jr. will be at 11:00a.m. on Monday, October 26, 2020 at St. Mark United Methodist Church, 720 Avoyelles Drive, Alexandria, LA. Rev. Jason Jacob will be officiating. Interment will be in Central LA Veterans Cemetery, Leesville, LA.
Mr. Gott, 85, of Alexandria, LA, passed away on October 18, 2020 at Department of Veterans Affairs Nursing Home. He is preceded in death by his parents: Archie Gott, Sr. and Zella Beck Gott, son: Freddie Lewis Pickett, sisters: Doris Gott and Shirley Jan Battles, brothers; Penny Gott and Mansel Gott, and grandson: Michael Butler.
Archie leaves to cherish his memories – wife: Pearline Gott, daughters: Delores Jones, Diann Howe, and JoAnn Butler, son: Ricky Gott, 10 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren, along with a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. at St. Mark United Methodist Church.
