Services for Arthur Jones, Jr. will be at 12:00p.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at Second Evening Star Baptist Church. Rev. Phillip Taylor. Interment will be in McNutt Hill Cemetery.


Mr. Jones, was born on July 31, 1948 to the union of Arthur Jones, Sr. and Rosa Lee Harris Jones. He slept away peacefully at the age of 71 years old in the arms of our Heavenly Father on March 1, 2020.


He leaves to cherish his memories, children: Trish Anderson Gibson, Keely Mix, Arthur “Ruddar” Jones, III, Timothy Landers, Larry, Tony, Lynn, Brian, and Jerrie Smith, Deidre Johnson; sisters and brothers: Linda Ladino (Manuel), Joyce Jones Williams, Lawrence Jones (Joyce), Leon Jones, and Lonnie Jones (Mary); fiancé: Helen Adelehan, Godmother and aunt: Mary Ella Ricard, aunt: Alice Williams, uncles: Benjamin Jones, Sr. and Joseph Jones (Nellie); Godfather: James Ballard, 25 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.


Visitation will begin at 10:00a.m. at Second Evening star Baptist Church.
