Audrey K. Bobb

Services for Audrey K. Bobb will be at 11a.m. on September 16, 2023, at St. Matthews Baptist Church with Pastor Sandra Williams officiating. Burial will be in St. Matthew Cemetery, under the direction of Robinson Family Mortuary.

Mrs. Audrey K. Bobb, age 87, of Boyce, La entered eternal rest on September 5, 2023, at her residence.

Audrey was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. Also known as “Madea” to all who had the pleasure of meeting. She was well known for her hot tamales and baked goods. She was a member of the Hammonites and True Believers Gospel Group. She was in the church choir and played piano for the church.

Audrey is preceded in death by her mother Wilbert Dejean, stepdad Kenneth Dejean, father- Johnny Kimble, two sisters: Joann Holt and Rachel Holden, one brother Wilbert Dejean and one daughter, Loretta Bobb-Bailey.

She is survived by four daughters: Mattie (Clinton) Wright, Frucilla G. Young, Gilda B. (Leo) Johnson, Marilyn Fontenot, one son Columbus (Lawanda) Bobb Jr.,one brother: Henry Dejean, four sisters; Elvie Washington, Gilda Lewis, Ida Faye Coleman, and Machelle Dejean, along with 12 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.
