Betty Ann Tafarro Kirk, 85 years old, born March 31, 1943, to Elnora Hall and George Tafarro in Alexandria, LA. She passed away on August 6, 2026, peacefully in her home surrounded by family.

Betty is preceded in death by Leroy Kirk, late husband, Elnora Hall, (mother), George Tafarro(father), foster parents, Sam and Martha Bowie, Spencer Kirk (father-in-law), Corine A. Coleman, (mother-in-law), Aunt Doochie, Gloria Mae Hall and Shirley W. Baker, (cousins).

She leaves to cherish her memories: Dewanda Kirk, (daughter), sons: Leroy Kirk, Jr. (Alma), Isaiah Kirk, Henry Kirk (Nicolette) and Larry Ray Kirk. Her brother, George Tafarro, Jr (Brenda) and Godchild, Isabella Sampson.
