Betty G. Sykes

Services for Betty Gene Sykes will be at 11:00a.m. on Tuesday, January, 29, 2019 at Greater Live Oak Baptist Church. Dr. James Hardison, Sr. will be officiating. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Ball, LA under the direction of Robinson Family Mortuary.

Mrs. Sykes, 73, of Alexandria, LA, passed away on January 20, 2019 at Rapides Regional Medical Center. She is preceded in death by her husband-Wade Allen Sykes, Jr. , parents-Lois and Lawrence Roberts, Sr., brother Walter Roy Roberts, sister-Leabertha (Tea) Lair.

Betty is survived by her sons-Anthony O’Brian Sykes and Geoffrey Omar Sykes, brothers-Lawrence Roberts, Jr., Robert Dale Roberts, and Armadel Roberts, sisters-Thelma Lee Bowie, Deloris Bandy, Shirley Wrenn, Alma Rose Hardy, Linda Faye Malveaux, and Marilyn Manley.

Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. at the

church.
