Services for Betty Battles Norris will be at 1:00pm on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at First Union Historical Baptist Church, 601 Lee Street, Alexandria, LA. Rev. Jerome Elmore will be officiating. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Mrs. Norris, 74, of Alexandria, LA, passed away on December 23, 2021, at CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital. She is preceded in death by her father: Aphas Johnson, mother: Mercedes B. Williams, siblings: Beverly, Eugene, Shirley, Joseph, and Mildred. Betty leaves to cherish her memories-daughters; Melony Hinkston and Shondrika Norris, son; Kedrick Norris, brothers; Anthony Williams and Kenneth Williams, sisters; Deborah Frazier and Gwendolyn Harbor, along with 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
