Charlene Chalk Rachal

Services for Charlene Chalk Rachal will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 16, 2023, at Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church, with Rev. Tom Hamilton Jr officiating. Burial will be in Alexandria Memorial Gardens, under the direction of Robinson Family Mortuary.

Mrs. Charlene Rachal age 72 of Alexandria, La passed away at her residence.

Charlene worked in the Rapides Parish school system for 30 years. She loved her church, her children, her community, and her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents Lula Gayden, Lawrence Chalk, Willie Gayden Sr. her sister Mary F. Tatum, her niece Debra Carradine, and nephew Marvin Freeman.

She is survived by her husband Alfred Rachel, one daughter, Charlathia Rachel, twos sones, Bobby Williams, Jr, Alfred Wayne Rachel Jr., 5 grandchildren ; Peyton Jordan, Kassidi Jordan, Kirsten Carter, Kyndan Curry, Illiana Rachel, one great granddaughter Brooklyn Carter, and one brother, Willie Gayden Jr. (Patricia).
