Charles James Boyer will be at 11a.m. on Saturday, June 13, 2020, at Lebanon Missionary Baptist Church, Lecompte, LA, with the Reverend Wyman Lewis, Jr. officiating.

Burial will be at St. Paul Lutheran Church Cemetery in Mansura, LA.

Mr. Charles James Boyer, age 78, died at 6:34p.m. on June 4, 2020 at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, LA.

Charles loved fishing, hunting, horseback riding, and gardening. He also loved dogs and going to the casino.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Quincy Boyer and Alma Evans Boyer, Siblings: Calvin Boyer, Willie Boyer, Rozenna Boyer, Edward (Buck) Boyer, Ethel Norris, Alvin Boyer, Alma Hammond, Morris (Gene) Boyer, Irma Lavallis and one grandson Troy Green.

Charles leaves to cherish his memories – daughters: Felicia Boyer (Anthony) Fuller, of Fayetteville, NC, Charlene Green, and one son: Ricky Green of Pontiac, MI, siblings: Alice (Wyman) Lewis of Lecompte, LA, Lena Pilgrim and Mary (Donald) Cowser of Pontiac, MI, 12 grandchildren: Christopher (Idette) Smith, Jr., TeAonna (Damon) Coats, Cenerica Freeman, Vantashia Freeman, Charyencia Freeman, Corey Green, Eric Green, Raymond Green, Tyler Green, Adrian Green, Andrew Green, and Natalia Green, 17 great grandchildren, one great-great grandson, on goddaughter: Kayla Robinson, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
