Cheryl Yvonne Jones

Services for Cheryl Yvonne Jones will be at 2:00p.m. on Sunday, October 3, 2021, at Zion Hill Church Family, 312 Hunter Street, Pineville, LA. Rev. (Dr.) Rodney Jones will be officiating. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Ms. Jones, 70, of Alexandria, LA, passed away on September 26, 2021, at Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital.

Ms. Jones was employed with Winnfield Funeral Home of Alexandria for 20+ years and later gained employment at the Rapides Parish School Board, where she was the professional and comforting voice for 20+ years until her death. Cheryl is preceded in death by her parents: Samuel & Mary Etta White Jones, brothers: Ronnie W. Jones, Sr., and John W. Jones, sister: Kathleen Jones Johnson.

Cheryl leaves to cherish her memories – sisters: Cynthia Jones Cobb and Angela Jones Oliver, 11 nieces and nephews, 17 great-nieces and nephews, 4 great-great-nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at Zion Hill Church Family beginning at 1:00p.m.
