Clinton A. Frazier

Services for Clinton Anne Frazier will be at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 5, 2023, at Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church located at 410 Solomon Street, Alexandria, La. Pastor Tom Hamilton, Jr. will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetary in Alexandria, under the direction of Robinson Family Mortuary. The viewing will begin at 10:00 A.M.


Mrs. Clinton A. Frazier, 83, of Alexandria, La. passed at 1:54 A.M. on July 21, 2023 at her residence, surrounded by family. Mrs. Frazier was born on April 19, 1940, to the late Clinton Lavallis and Castell Hall Lavallis (Smith, Brown). She accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Evergreen Baptist Church of St. Maurice, La., under the pastorship of W.M.T. Wilson. She later joined Pilgrim MBC, under the leadership of Tom Hamilton, Jr., where she remained a member, until the time of her death.


Mrs. Frazier was preceded in death by her father, Clinton Lavallis, mother, Castell Hall Brown, step fathers Huey Smith and Mingo Brown, two brothers, Eugene and Charles Smith, sister, Frankie Anderson, and step siblings, Eunice Wiggins, Eddie Mae Ogilive and James Smith.


She is survived by her loving husband, Dewey Frazier, son, Lynn Lavallis (Maxine), three daughters, Felicia Branch (Glenn, Sr.), Cherlyn Russaw (Andre), Yolanda Route (Edward), step daughter Veletta F. Corner (Bobby), two step sons Todd Frazier (Nettie), Derrick Clark, brother Dwight Smith, Sr., 16 grandchildren, 57 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grand children, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
