A celebration of life for Mr. De’Marius Travon McHanney will be on
Saturday, April 22, 2023, at 11:00a.m. at Mt. Hermon Baptist Church,
Lena, LA. Rev. Frank D. Randle will be officiating. Viewing will be
from 9:00a.m. until the start of service. Interment will be at Roadview
Cemetery, Lena, LA.
De’Marius McHanney, 27, of Boyce, LA, passed away on April 10,
2023, in Monroe, LA. He is preceded in death by his father Richard
Clyde McHanney, Sr,; paternal grandparents, Clarence McHanney, Sr.
and Orlean Sherman McHanney; and maternal grandparents, I.V. Turner
and Mary Williams Turner.
De’Marius leaves to cherish his memories a loving wife Aaliyah Morris
McHanney of Monroe, LA; his mother Theresa Turner McHanney of
Boyce, LA; one sister Dominica Turner of Alexandria, LA; two brothers
Richard McHanney, Jr. of Alexandria, LA and Frederic Orange
(Elizabeth) of Baton Rouge, LA; four nieces Briana Davis of Boyce,
LA, A’Mya Davis of Alexandria, LA, Tyniqual Orange and Frederica
Orange of Baton Rouge, LA; four nephews Jordan McHanney, Jayden
Evans, and Jayce McHanney of Houston, TX, and Delton Orange of
Baton Rouge, LA; one great niece; one great nephew; two sisters in law;
seven brothers in law; a God Mother, and a host of caring aunts, uncles,
cousins, and friends.
