Services for Debra Collins Whittaker will be at 11:00a.m. on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at Servants of Christ Church, 1111 Maryland Ave, Alexandria LA.

Servant Leader Charlie Gilmore will be officiating. Interment will be in Lincoln Cemetery, Pineville, LA.

Ms. Whittaker, 65, of Alexandria, LA, passed away on June 17, 2024, in Pineville, LA. Debra was born on February 10, 1959, in Pineville, LA to the union of Willie Crawford and Evelyn Collins Anthony. She worked at Pinecrest Supports and Services for many years as an RSS5. She was a member of the AA and NA programs, where she helped a lot of people.

She is preceded in death by her husband: Johnny Ray Whittaker, Sr., parents: Willie Crawford and Evelyn Collins Anthony, MGP Dave Collins and Hazel Richard, PGP Thomas and Lillie Crawford, two brothers: Landry Ray Collins and Willie Collins.

Debra leaves to cherish her memories – daughters: Shelleana Whittaker Thomas (Antonio), Latonya C. Marlis, and Latisha C. Whittaker, sons: Demond D. Collins (Angie), Demetris O. Collins, Johnny Ray Whittaker, Jr. (Karen), Wayne Whittaker (Jennifer), and James L. Anthony, Jr, she reared as her own, brothers: Davis Anthony and James L. Anthony, Sr., sister in law: Beverly Clark (Davis, along with 19 grandchildren.
