Services for Dessie Harrington will be at 12:00pm on Sunday, September 19, 2021, at Liberty Hill Baptist Church, Glenmora, LA.

Pastor Rainey will be officiating. Interment will be in Liberty Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Harrington, 74, of Forest Hill, LA, passed away on September 15, 2021, at her residence. Dessie better known as Shirley was born in Longleaf, LA to the late Helen and Lawrence Sumbler. She loved to clean Houses and be around family. She was the life of the party and fun to be around. She was a very loved woman.

Dessie is preceded in death by her mother, Helen Sumbler, father, Lawrence Sumbler, brother, Oscar Sumbler, son, Jeffery Sumbler, and husband, Leslie Harrington, Sr. Dessie leaves to cherish her memories – sons, Rodney Sumbler, Albert Pugh, Leslie Harrington, Sr., sister, Rose Clark, and 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
