Dewayne K. Thornton

Services for Dewayne K. Thornton will be at 11 a.m. on September 15, 2023, at Mt. Triumph Baptist Church with Pastor Joseph Franklin officiating. Burial will be in Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, under direction of Robinson Family Mortuary.

Mr. Dewayne K. Thornton age 59, of Alexandria, La entered eternal rest September 3, 2023, at his residence.

Dewayne served 20 years in the U.S. Army, employed at the VA Medical Center in Alexandria until the time of his death.

He is preceded in death by maternal and paternal grandparents, numerous aunts, unlce and cousins.

He is survived by his wife Trina Thornton, four daughters: Joardan Thornton, Monique Evans (Javar), Briana Beauregard, and Tyionina Beauregard, and one son, (pet) Otis Thornton, mother and father Jessie Thornton, Thomas & Mary Thornton, four brothers; Darnell Kevin Thornton (Melanie), Darwin Karl Thornton (Hedi), Dion Kendall Thornton, and Thomas Thornton (Sherry), one sister, Tybeera (Tia) Thornton, and three grandchildren; Breyana Stewart, Candan Evans, and Amaya Evans.
