Services for Dorothy Mae Washington Lewis will be at 11:00a.m. at Neighborhood Church, 1710 Kelly Street, Alexandria, LA.

Rev. Johnny Johnson will be officiating. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Mrs. Lewis, 73, of Alexandria, LA, passed away on November 17, 2020 at Rapides Regional Medical Center.

He was a homemaker and a very nice person. She gave her last if you ask. She loved dancing and she never changed , she was always the same. She was preceded in death by Hattie Payne Callegari, Shirley Mae Gatson, Betty Joe Washington, Jack Tyson, Jo’Quarius Malone Bibbins, and Christopher T. Monette.

Dorothy leaves to cherish her memories – husband: Joseph P. Lewis, daughters: Shirley Malone (Jimie), Vivilian Malone (Kevin), Barbara Johnson Beauregard (Dennis), and Vera Mae Johnson (JoeRay), sons: Paul J. Tyson (Patina) and Billy Ray Malone, brothers: Hargrove Washington and James Hargrove, sisters: Louise Hargrove Welch and Sadie Washington Mitchell, grandchildren: Cartina Grimes, Ashley grimes, Trelixicia Johnson, Treton Johnson, Alexzatron Johnson, Saidrick McCree, Kamren Vercher, Aniyah Vercher, Preonka Beauregard, Destiny Beauregard, Kandis Beauregard, Kadedra Beauregard, and Aaliyah Beauregard, and great grandchildren: Saidrick McCree, Jr., Iris McCree, Khalil P. McCree, and Amhaud D. Grimes.

Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. at Neighborhood Church.
