Services for Elizabeth Francis Augustus will be at 11:00a.m. on Saturday, July 29,

2023, at Mount Zion Baptist Church. Rev. Willie Dunkley will be officiating.

Interment will be in Alexandria Memorial Gardens, Woodworth, LA.

Mrs. Augustus, 74, of Alexandria, LA, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2023, at

Rapides Regional Medical Center. She is preceded in death by her parents: Isaiah

and Mary Williams, three sisters: Dorothy Norwood Green, Rosalie Norwood, and

Lovie Williams, and four brothers: Lee Dell Williams, Isaiah Williams, Jr., James

C. Norwood, and Wilbert Norwood, along with both paternal and maternal

grandparents.

Elizabeth leaves to cherish her memories – husband: Melvin Augustus, Sr.,

daughters: Shirley Jackson-Taylor, Uceta Barolle, Kimberly Augustus, and Miracle

Stevens, sons: Melvin Augustus, Jr., Alvin Augustus, Jacob Augustus, Charles

Rainey Augustus, Alton Augustus, and Allan Augustus, God-son: Jacobie Bell, 15

grandchildren, 5 grandchildren, along with a host of nieces and nephews.
