Services for Elizabeth Lavan Briggs will be at 11:00a.m. on Friday, April 17, 2020 at Robinson Family Mortuary, 1815 Military Hwy, Pineville, LA. Chaplain Dennis Snoddy will be officiating. Interment will be in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery, Pineville, LA.

Mrs. Briggs, 67, of Pineville, LA passed away on April 11, 2020 at Hilltop Nursing Home, Pineville, LA. Elizabeth Lavan Briggs was born on October 20, 1952 in Elkton, LA. She is preceded in death by her husband Richard Briggs; her parents George Lavan, Sr., and Isabella Bellow Lavan; sisters Mary Lavan, Dian Lavan-Armelin and Frances Lavan Miles; brothers Roy Lavan, Sr. and George Lavan, Jr.

Elizabeth leaves to cherish her memory, her loving son, Richard Theo Briggs; devoted care-givers James and Gloria Young (sister-in-law); and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
