Services for Emanuel Hayes, Jr. will be at 11:00a.m. on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Eastern Star Missionary Baptist Church, 2705 Wise St., Alexandria, LA. Rev. Clarence Reed will be officiating. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Mr. Hayes, 81, of Alexandria, LA, passed away at his residence.

Emanuel was a man of faith. He was a family man, who loved his family to the moon and back. He served as a faithful Deacon until God called him home. He is loved and we will carry him with us always.

Emanuel is preceded in death by his mother: Bernice Hayes, father: Emanuel Hayes, Sr., three brothers: Anthony Runis, Albert Armstrong, Sr., and Willie Holmes, Sr., two sisters: Sadie Armstrong and Mary Hayes.

Emanuel leaves to cherish his memories – wife: Shirley Hayes, daughters: Rechelle Hayes Washington and TeErica Hayes, sons: Tryon Cannon and Emanuel Hayes, III, brother: Adam Hayes, Sr., sisters: Bernie Hayes Bridges, Pinky Hayes, Vera Armstrong, and Gertie Holmes Nichols, along with 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. at Eastern Star Missionary Baptist Church.
