Services for Emma Longmire Wright will be at 1:00p.m. on Friday, January 22, 2021 at First Baptist Church, Jena, LA. Interment will be in Webster Cemetery.

Mrs. Wright, 72, of Jena, LA, passed away on January 7, 2021 at Rapides Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Emma was a very loving and devoted sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, wife, and friend. She retired from the LaSalle Parish School System and Walmart. She will be greatly missed by her loved ones and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents: Oscar and Lena Lee.

Emma leaves to cherish her memories – husband: James Wright, daughter: Bridgette White (Marvin), sons: Batasi Longmire, Bonavena Longmire (Stefanie), and Baraka Longmire (Julia), sisters: Mary L. Brown, Rosie Carloss, and Dianna Lee, along with 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
