Services for Ethel Elizibeth Lyons Hynson will be at 11:00am Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Mt. Triumph Missionary Baptist Church, 720 Mill Race Road, Boyce, LA. Pastor Joseph W. Franklin.
Ethel Elizabeth Lyons was born on March 7, 1944, in Lecompte, LA. On Saturday, May 16, 2026, our Granny peacefully slipped into the loving arms of her Savior while surrounded by the family she loved so dearly.
Her legacy will be forever remembered and loved by her husband of 62 years, Joseph L. Hynson, two daughters, Felicia R. Hynson Houston, Alexandria, La, Kimberly N. Blade (Walter) Cotile Lake, LA, and bonus daughter Angelia E. Daniels (Gary) of Long Beach, CA, Erik Cloman Compton, CA, and Scott Cloman, Canada, Sisters Eula Lyons, Houston, TX, and Helen Browder (Charles) Morgan City, LA, sister-in-law Billie Hynson, Alexandria, LA, grandsons Tre'Jon Hynson, JaVante' Houston, and John Michael Houston, all of Alexandria, LA, granddaughters Brandi McKinney, Apple Valley, CA, Piercelyn Blade, Alexandria, LA, Dominique and Brittany Houston, Spring, TX, seven, soon to be eight, great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends she considered family.
Visitation will begin at 9:00am at Mt. Triumph Missionary Baptist Church.
