Evangelist Eunice Woods

Services for Evangelist Eunice Woods will be held Saturday, February 3, 2024, at 11:00 am at New Scott Olly Baptist Church in Alexandria, Louisiana. Elder Percy Woods will be Officiating.  Visitation begins at 10:00 am and will continue until time of service.  Interment will be at Garden of Memories Cemetery Alexandria, Louisiana. 

Evangelist Eunice Woods was born to Jeanette Norris and Joe Norris, Sr. on September 24, 1931. She departed this life on January 18, 2024,at the age of 92. Eunice was one of ten children. On May 27, 1946Eunice and Willie Joe Woods, Sr. were united in marriage. To this union nine children were born, six girls and three boys. Mother Woods is preceded in death by her husband, three children, Rev. Percy Lee Woods, Shirley Ann Woods and Gladys Woods; and nine siblings.

Mother Woods leaves to cherish her life her children, Annette Woods of Pineville,  LA, Loretta Woods Allen of Alexandria, LA, Barbara Woods Valley of Pineville, LA, Willie Joe Woods, Jr., of Alexandria, LA, Melvin Roy Woods of Pineville, LA and Vurnell Woods Robertson of Pineville, LA; her son in laws David Valley of Pineville, LA, Leon Robertson, Sr., of Pineville, LA and Gerald Allen of Alexandria, LA; 28 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Mother Woods was Blessed with a Rich Life in Christ!
