Services for Fannie M. Gordon will be at 10:00a.m. on Friday, November 8, 2019 at Christian Love Baptist Church, 3515 Hudson Blvd, Alexandria, LA. Rev. Larry turner will be officiating. Interment will be in Northeast Louisiana National Cemetery, Rayville, LA.

Mrs. Gordon, 65, of Pineville LA, passed away on October 29, 2019 at her residence.

Fannie Mae Gordon was born to the union of Josephine “Munchie” Williams and Theodore “T-Bone” Harris on December 24, 1953 in Monroe, Louisiana. Fannie was an early member of Mt Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Rayville, Louisiana, she later joined Christian Love Baptist Church under the Leadership of Reverend Larry R. Turner where she remain until her passing on October 29, 2019.

Fannie was preceded in death by her father, Theodore Harris and her Mother, Josephine Williams, her Father and Mother-in-law, George and Arie Gordon, her sister, Jeanette Givens King, Her brother, Larry Nickles, her sister in law, Joyce A. Gordon, five brother- in- laws, Elbert, Elijah, Sidney, Terry and James Lee Gordon, and her Nephews, Marvin “Mane” Watkins.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her loving husband Samuel Gordon, Her Daughter, Sheree Nickles Washington (Abdul Washington) of Cedar Hill, Texas, Sister, Sarah Lenore of Red Oak, Texas, Grandson, Durius Nickles of Cedar Hills, Texas, Great Grandsons, Cainan Nickles of Houston, Texas and Kylen Nickles of Grand Prairies, Texas. Four sister – in laws, Elizabeth Gordon and Gloria G. Felton (Joe) Seattle Washington, Azalee Carthen, Fayetteville, NC, and Bernestine Thomas, Houston, Texas, seven brother-in-law’s Eddie Gordon (Cassandra) St Louis MO, Michael Gordon (Judith) Seattle WA, George Gordon, Ronnie Gordon (Lori Ann) Jackson MS. Donnie Gordon(Sandra) Jerry Gordon (Wanda) Rayville, Louisiana. Nephews, Ricky Givens of Dallas, Texas and Kevin Taylor of Lancaster, Texas, Nieces, Deidre Lenore of Red Oak, Texas and Shelia Givens of Desoto, Texas, Grand - nephews, Stanley L. White (Traci White) of Temple, Texas; CeKyrhien Hawkins and Xavier Watkins of Rayville, Louisiana, and Kevin Taylor Jr. of Lancaster, Texas. Grand - niece, K’Vonne Taylor of Grambling, Louisiana an a host of other relatives including the Harris, Winston, Robinson, Nichols and Gay families and friends Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. at Christian Love Baptist Church.
