Services for Gregory D. Nelson, Sr. will be at 10:00a.m. on Monday, December 29, 2025, at St. Frances Xavier Cathedral. Interment will be in Alexandria Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Nelson, 71, of Alexandria, LA, passed away on December 18, 2025, at Rapides Regional Medical center. He is preceded in death by his parents: Freddie and Dorothy Nelson, sister: Barbara Nelson Matthews, and brother: Bruce Nelson.
Gregory leaves to cherish his memories – wife: Paula K. C. Nelson, son: Gregory D. Nelson, Jr., brothers: Feddie Nelson, Jr., Albert Nelson, and Ronald Nelson, and sister: Patricia Nelson.
Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. at St. Frances Xavier Cathedral.
