Gregory W. Culbert, Sr.


Services for Gregory Wayne Culbert, Sr. will be at 11:00a.m. on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at Greater Live Oak Missionary Baptist Church, 1401 Fenner Street, Alexandria, LA. Rev. (Dr.) James S. Hardison, Sr. will be officiating. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery under the direction of Robinson Family Mortuary.


Mr. Culbert, 53, of Alexandria, LA, passed away on September 19, 2020 at CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital.


Gregory Wayne Culbert, Sr. was born July 5, 1967 in Pineville, LA to the late Lemroy and Flora Easley Culbert. He was baptized at an early age at Greater Live Oak Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend (Dr.) James S. Hardison, Sr.


Gregory was united in Holy Matrimony for several years and two children were born to the union. He attended Bolton High school in Alexandria, LA. Greg was a friend to many who knew him.


In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Gregory W. Culbert, Jr., one (1) brother, Darryl E. Culbert, and one (1) nephew, Terrell T. McGee, Sr.

He leaves to cherish his memory: One (1) daughter, Sierra Rochon (James), one (1) granddaughter Sa’Niya Rochon; three (3) sisters, Linda R. McGee, Lillian C. Smith, Gloria A. Culbert, and one (1) brother, Lemroy Culbert, Jr. (Angela), all of Alexandria, LA; two (2) uncles, Isadore Easley of Alexandria, LA, and Powell Easley (Gwendolyn) of Riverside, GA; one (1) great aunt, Irma Payne of Natchitoches, LA and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
