Gwendolyn Anderson

Gwendolyn Ann Anderson of Pineville, Louisiana, passed away peacefully at her residence on July 4, 2025. Gwen was born on August 10, 1961, in Leavenworth, Kansas, to Doyle and Norma Anderson, both of whom preceded her in death.

She proudly served her country in the United States Army and later devoted more than three decades as a compassionate employee of the Alexandria VA Hospital in Pineville, Louisiana.

Those who knew Gwen will always remember her ever-present smile, lighthearted spirit, and the laughter she brought to every room. Gwen leaves behind a host of friends who will forever cherish her gentle spirit, steady smile, and the joy she shared so freely.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 11:00AM at Robinson Family Mortuary, 1815 Military Hwy., Pineville, LA 71360. A graveside service with military honors will follow at 12:30 PM at Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, 3348 University Pkwy., Leesville, LA 71446.
