IV Turner

Homegoing Celebration for IV Turner will be at 11:00a.m. on Saturday, August 28, 2021, at Mt. Hermon Baptist Church. Rev. Frank Randle, Jr. will be officiating. Interment will be in Roadview Cemetery, Lena, LA.

Mr. Turner, 90, of Boyce, LA, passed away on August 19, 2021, at Rapides Regional Medical Center. He was born on July 23, 1931, to the late Lea Himes-Turner in Grand Parish. He is preceded in death by a loving and devoted wife 50+ years: Mary Alice Turner, mother, 2 brothers: Orange Lee Turner and Sylvester “JB” Turner, 2 sisters: Ella and Sally Turner, 1 son: Eric Myles Turner, 1 son-in-law: Richard Mc Hanney, Sr. IV was a diligent employee of many construction companies.

IV leaves to cherish his memories – daughters: Rossain Williams, Theresa McHanney, Debra Swearington, Sandra Turner, and Rougena Napoleon (Myron), son: Ivory Turner, sisters: Shirley Turner and Ollie King, brother: Lee Turner, sisters-in-law: Cora Lee Himes, Elizabeth Williams, and Willie Mae Turner, along with 18 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. at the church.
