Services for James E. O’Steen, Sr. will be at 11:00a.m. on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at New Scott Olly Baptist Church, 2627 Willow Glen River Rd, Alexandria, LA. Pastor Willie Sewell, Sr. will be officiating. Interment will be in Cuba Cemetery in Winnsboro, LA.

Mr. O’Steen, 74, of Alexandria, LA, passed away on April 29, 2019 at Rapides Regional Medical Center. He is preceded in death by his parents: Ben O’Steen, Sr., and Bernice O’Steen, along with seven sisters and seven brothers.

James leaves to cherish his memories his wife: Theresa M. O’Steen, daughters: O’Shelia

McCarroll and Melissa O’Steen, sons: Stephen O'Steen, James O’Steen, Jr., and Jessie O’Steen, Sr., brothers: Clyde Smith and John Ray O’Steen, sisters: Ruth Dent, Josie Lee, Ollie Mae Johnson, Vera O’Steen-Hall, Linda Scott, and Terry O’Steen, along with 9 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. at the church.
