Services for Jimmy Sherman will be at 1:00p.m. on Saturday, August 7, 2021, at Greater Magnolia Baptist Church. Pastor Chadwick D. Godfrey. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.


Mr. Sherman, 61, of Alexandria, LA, passed away on August 1, 2021, at Rapides Regional Medical Center. He is preceded in death by – mother: Louise Sherman, father: George Sherman, sisters: Dorothy Brooks, Doris Sherman, Kathleen Sherman, Billie H. Sherman, Diana Sherman, Debbie Sherman, brothers: Charlie and Leroy Sherman.


Jimmy leaves to cherish his memories – sons: Jimmy Swafford and Jamie Swafford, brothers: Mose Crittle, Willie Sherman, George Sherman, and Ray Sherman, sisters: Elizabeth Sherman and Gloria Sherman, along with 2 grandchildren.
