Services for Joe Ellis Luke will be at 11:00 a.m. on March 25, 2023, at Burks Temple C.M.E Church with Rev. Eric Peoples officiating. Burial will be in St. Luke Cemetery, under direction of Robinson Family Mortuary.
Mr. Joe Ellis Luke age 82 of Dodson, La, entered eternal rest on March 13, 2023, at Our Lady of Luke. He confessed Christ at an early age at St. Matthew Baptist Church in Ringgold, La where he reminded faithfully until he moved to Winnfield, La.
Mr. Joe is preceded in death by Mother Celia H. Wilson, Father, Normon Luke; sister Annie Marie Fleeks; niece Sharon Fleeks; brother-in-law R.B. Price; 10 uncles and 10 aunts.
He is survived by his wife Alice Hardwell Luke, one daughter, Annette Durham, three sons Terrance Luke, Ellis Luke, and stepson Arthur Price, two grandchildren and seven great-grand.
Wake service will be held on Friday, March 24, 2023 from 5:00pm-8pm at Burks Temple.
