Viewing services for John Dale Ford will begin at 9:00a.m. – 10:00a.m., followed by the funeral service at 10:00a.m. at Robinson Family Mortuary, 1815 Military Hwy, Pineville, LA. Father Walter Ajaero will be officiating. Interment will be in St. Richards Catholic Church Cemetery.
Mr. Ford, 69, of Marksville, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, in Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital.
He was born on December 21, 1951, to Alvin Ford, Sr. and Josephine Augustine Ford in Hickory Hill, LA. He accepted Christ at an early age, he was baptized by Father Ron Matthews. In his later years, he joined St. Richards Catholic Church.
Mr. Ford was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and always a hard worker. He enjoyed working, gardening, and visiting family. He grew up in Hickory Hills, and he enjoyed working for Gilchrist Construction Company in his earlier years. He always lent a hand to those in need. He will be deeply missed by all who loved and knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Alvin Ford, Sr., and Josephine Augustine Ford; (4) sisters Josephine Ford Lavalais, Lessie ford, Dorothy Ford Reed, and Earline Ford; and (6) brothers, Hilton, Alvin, Jr., Lester, Albert, Darrel, and Aaron Ford.
He leaves to mourn his loving wife: Wilma Ford, son: Travis Ford, grandson: Zaidon Ford, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
