Services for John L. Brown, Jr. will be at 11:00a.m. on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at Laurel Hill Baptist Church, 141 Ryan Avenue, Boyce, LA. Pastors Marvin Williams and Lillie Thompson will be officiating. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Mr. Brown, 79, of Alexandria, LA, passed away on August 14, 2024, at Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital. He is preceded in death by his wife: Ella Brown, parents: John Brown, Sr., and Rosa Barnes-Brown, and 10 siblings.

John leaves to cherish his memories – daughters: Marilyn Antwine (Sedrick), Sarah Diggs (Jerald), Kimberly Brown (Patrick), and Kenisha Wooders (Gregory) , sons: Don Brown (Agnurus) and Antonio Eddie, along with 11 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m at Laurel Hill Baptist Church.
