Services for Joseph Hamilton, Jr. will be at 11:00a.m. on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at Christian Worship Center. Interment will be in Garden of Memories.

Joseph Hamilton, Jr. was born on October 30, 1961, to the union of the late Mary B. Davis and Joseph Hamilton, sr. of Alexandria, LA.

Joseph departed this life on September 1, 2021, at Ochsner Medical center, New Orleans, LA. Joseph was baptized at an early age at Bethel AME Church where he attended for many years. He was a devoted employee at Gilchrist in Alexandria, LA and Food Supply in Houston, TX. Joseph was a high school graduate of Peabody Magnet High School Class of “1980”. Later in life, Joseph attended Christian worship Center for a number of years leading up to his passing.

Joseph is preceded in death by Mary B. Davis (mother), Alyson Norwitz (wife), Robert Scott (son), Anthony Wayne Hamilton (brother), and both maternal & paternal grandparents.

Joseph leaves to cherish his fondest memories – Joseph Hamilton, Sr. (father), Dylan Joseph Hamilton (son), Faybrail Johnson, Amber Hamilton, Piercelyn Blade, and Chelsea Hamilton (daughters), Donald R. Hamilton (brother), Angela Markray and Erika Davis (sisters).
