Joy Alberta Spotsville

Services for Joy Alberta Spotsville will be at 11:00a.m. on Friday, July 5, 2019 at Mount Pilgrim Rest, 916 Church St, Colfax, LA with the Rev. Huey Tademy officiating. Interment will be in Raven Camp Cemetery under the direction of the Robinson Family Mortuary.

Mrs. Joy Alberta Spotsville, 83, of Colfax, departed this world on June 27, 2019 at Rapides Regional Medical Center.

Born to Albert and Indiana Williams in Colfax, LA on September 5, 1935. She graduated from Mary E. Graham in 1957.

She is preceded in death by her parents Indiana Hamilton and Albert Williams, beloved husband Walter Spotsville, one son Franz Williams, and a daughter Doris Deas.

She leaves to cherish her memories one daughter; CeLisa Bowie - Holmes (AJ), five sons: Pastor Lewis Carnahan (Lena), Lawrence Carnahan, Reginald Carnahan, Pastor Ronald Carnahan (Shirley), Elder Walter G. Williams (Judith), 18 grandchildren, and 27 great grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. at the church.
