Services for Joyce Kirklin Richardson will be at 11:00a.m. on August 20, 2022, at
New St. Thomas Baptist Church. Pastor Robert Austin. Interment will be in Road View Cemetery, Lena, LA.
Mrs. Richardson, 60, of Boyce, LA, passed away on August 6, 2022, at her residence. Joyce’s spiritual journey began at an early age. She was baptized over 30 years ago at Laurel Hill Baptist Church. In her later years, she joined, by
Christian Experience, the New St. Thomas Church.
Joyce Kirklin Richardson was born to the late Deacon James and Deloris Smith Kirklin on August 25, 1961. There were eight children in this union, of course, Joyce was a twin to Loyce. Joyce has four children, seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Those left to cherish her memories are: husband: Alonzo Richardson, daughter: Shevetta Kirklin, sons: Derric Kirklin, Tyrandel Kirklin, and Derrious Kirklin, brothers: Bobby G. Smith, Bennie D. Smith, and James D. Kirklin, sisters: Lovia C. Kirklin, Evangelist Olevia Kirklin Jackson, Loyce Kirklin, and Brenda F.
Lucky, along with 7 grandchildren, ad 1 great grandchild, one aunt: Roberline Smith, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
