Julie Lee Jackson, 63, passed away in her home with her caring Aunt, Marie Coleman by her side in Alexandria, Louisiana. Julie was born in Pineville, Louisiana on September 20, 1957. She was the first child and the first daughter to the late R.L Jackson and Annie Lee Nelson.

She received her secondary education from Bolton High School. After high school, she spent some time in the military and later worked for Fox Channel 26 in Houston Texas.


She leaves to cherish her memory, two children:, Eboni Jackson of Alexandria, LA, and Marcell Hill of Monroe, LA; her devoted partner, Abe of Alexandria, LA; four sisters: Jennifer Henry (Wilton) of Killeen, TX, Tena Okpere of Cypress, TX, Tonia Hess (James) of Graham, WA, and Denise Jackson of Houston, TX; five grandchildren: Leonard Jackson, Illya Henderson Jr. and Trinidy Henderson of Alexandria, LA, Darius Williams, Marcell Henderson and Kimora Williams of Monroe, LA; one great-grandchild: Carter Williams of Dallas, TX; four aunts: Leola Stubbs of Alexandria, LA, Thelma Moss of Detroit, MI, Sadie Jones of Colfax, LA, and Marie Turner of Alexandria, LA; one uncle: Henry Turner of Pineville, LA; special friends: Elaine Veal and Patricia Rocio of Alexandria, LA, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and others whose lives she touched.

In Loving Memory of Our Loved One, A Viewing will be held for family and friends at ROBINSON FAMILY MORTUARY IN PINEVILLE, LA, FROM 10AM -11AM ON SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 20, 2021. Soon thereafter, the funeral services will be held. However, due to COVID-19 restrictions and social distancing requirements the services will be limited to family.
