Services for Karlaya Evelyn Renee Coutee Jones will be at 11:00a.m. on Monday, February 8, 2021 at Greenwood Memorial Cemetery, Pineville, LA. Officiating by the Rebirth Minister and a special reading by Sandra Wiggins.

Baby Karlaya “Lalya Bug”, passed away on January 31, 2021 at CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital. She was 4lb 9oz and 19 inches long.


Karlaya was preceded in death by her great grandmothers: Jackie Jenkins and Debra Coutee, Evelyn Jones, great grandfathers: Joe Moorehead and Larry Coutee.


Those left to cherish the memory of Karlaya are: parents: Kameryn R. Coutee and Darius O. Jones, grandmaw: Felicia R. Moorehead and Janet M. Jenkins (Ryan), granddad: Derick R. Coutee and Charles G. Jones, great grandmothers: Queen E. Hughes and Chong Moorehead, great grandfathers: Leon J. Day and Chanie R. Jones, uncles: Tracy L. Holmes, Jr. (Toria) and Derick D. Jenkins, along with a host of great aunts & great uncles, family and friends.
