Kaster Darrell Jones

Services for Kaster Darrell Jones will be at 1:00p.m. on Saturday. July 12, 2025, at Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church, 410 Solomon Street, Alexandria, LA. Reverend Tom Hamilton will be officiating. Interment will be in Alexandria Memorial Gardens, Woodworth. LA.

Mr. Jones, 69, of Wilson, North Carolina, passed away on July 1, 2025, at his residence. He was preceded in death by his parents: Oscar Jones, Sr.& Hazel Ham-Jones, brothers: Stanley Jones, Kenneth Jones, and William Edwards.

Kaster was a retired Captain of the Alexandria Police Department, where he served for 38 years. Darrell is a U.S. Army veteran. He was also an avid bowler.

Darrell leaves to cherish his his memories - wife: Ruby Mayfield Jones, sons: Terrell and Datrick, brothers: Ozie Jones, Oscar Jones, and Ernest Jones,sisters: Bertha King and Teretha Pike, along with grandchildren: Kaylen, Camden, Datrick, Jr., and Laila.

Visitation services will be held on Friday, July 11, 2025, from 6-8:00p.m. at Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church, 410 Solomon Street, Alexandria. LA.
