Services for Katherine Drummer Smith will be at 11:00am on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at Abram Temple COGIC, 519 Pershing Avenue, Bunkie, LA. Bishop Alphonso Denson, Sr. will be officiating. Interment will be in Spring Bluff Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Smith, 88, of Goudeau, LA, passed away on March 4, 2024, at Valley View Nursing Facility. She is preceded in death by her husband: Columbus Smith, Sr., sons: Dennis Smith and Ronald Smith, parents: Arthur and Albertha Drummer, and 12 siblings.

Katherine leaves to cherish her memories – daughter: Gilder Jackson (Birthrim), sons: Columbus Smith, Jr. (Veronica), Earl Smith (Sandra), Raymond Smith, Sr. (Sheryl), and Alfred Smith (Gloria), sister: Willow Lee Hurts, along with 21 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren.
