Katherine Mae Gordon

Services for Katherine Mae Gordon will be at 11:00a.m. on Monday, May 5, 2025, at First Union Baptist Church, 1537 Bordelon Road, Bunkie, LA.

Pastor Robert E. Woods will be officiating. Interment will be in First Union Baptist Church Cemetery.

Ms. Gordon, 40, of Alexandria, LA, passed away on April 23, 2025, at Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital. Katherie was very intelligent, caring, giving, and thoughtful no matter what. She held a Bachelor and Master’s degree in criminal justice. She was currently pursuing a master’s degree in social work. Katherine worked as a Juvenile Probation Officer and child support officer. She also worked for the City of Lake Charles, Louisiana.

She is preceded in death by mother maternal and paternal grandparents, God mother and five uncles, and several cousins.

Katherine leaves to cherish her memories – parents: Dorothy Gordon and Frederick Gordon, Sr., brother: Frederick Gordon, Jr., sisters: Ashley Jenkins, Bobbie Daniels, and LaShonda Gordon.
