Services for Kathy Latonia Johnson will be at 11:00a.m. on Friday, May 23, 2025, at First evening Star Baptist Church, 6511 Bayou Rapides Road, Alexandria, LA. Pastor Robert Austin will e officiating. Interment will be in First Evening Star Cemetery.

Ms. Johnson, 57, of Alexandria, LA, passed away on May 16, 2025, at The Summit Retirement Center, Alexandria, LA. She is preceded in death by her mother: Johnnie Ruth Billops, father: Sol Johnson, sister: Bethy Ann Billops, nephew: Marcus Billops, brother: Charles Billops, great niece: Cadynce Brass.

Kathy was born in Pineville, LA to the union of Johnnie Ruth Billops and Sol Johnson. At an early age Kathy became a loyal member of First Evening Star Baptist Church. Kathy was a person who was filled with love and compassion. She kept a beautiful smile on her face and would help anyone she could help. Kathy had started her dream job as a truck driver that she loved very much but due to her health, she could no longer drive trucks anymore. Kathy had a beautiful soul and she will be missed dearly.
