Larry Davis, Sr.

Services for Larry Gene (Booker) Davis, Sr. will be at 11:00a.m. on Saturday, May 7, 2022, at Hopewell Baptist Church, 1100 Graham Street, Colfax, LA. Reverend Kendall Francois will be officiating. Interment will be in Farenzie Cemetery.

Mr. Davis, 67, of Colfax, LA, passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2022, at Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital. He worked at Louisiana State School for Boys, where he was a Caretaker and Recreational Assistant. He was an avid fisherman.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents – Mr. Richard and Carrie Johnson who raised him and Shaird Davis and Lettie Marie Bradford Williams.

Larry leaves to cherish his memories – wife: Delores C. Davis, daughter: Asia C.M. Davis, sons: Larry G. Davis, Jr. and Ethan E. Davis, sister: Carolyn Williams, along with 8 grandchildren. Viewing will begin at 10:00a.m. at Hopewell Baptist Church.
