Services for Laura Dearbone Batiste will be at 11:00a.m. on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at Second Union Missionary Baptist Church, Alexandria, LA. Rev. Dr. Rodney Jones will be officiating. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Mrs. Dearbone Batiste, 64, of Alexandria, LA, passed away on June 21, 2025, at Rapides Regional Medical Center. He is preceded in death by her parents: Alford & Lula Dearbone, brothers: “Baby” Dearbone and Charles Dearbone, and granddaughter: Tayelor Jordan.

Laura leaves to cherish her memories – husband: James L. Batiste, daughters: Tomeka Batiste and Tiffany Batiste, sons: Timothy Dearbone and Antonio Dearbone, brothers: Alford Dearbone, Kevin Dearbone, Issac Dearbone, Johnathan Dearbone, Willie Dearbone, sister: Clara Houston, along with 16 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 10:00a.m. at the church.
