Services for Lillie Mae Harvey will be at 11:00a.m. on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Robinson Family Mortuary, 1815 Military Hwy, Pineville, LA.


Lillie Mae Harvey was born on March 30, 1962. She departed this life on February 23, 2019 in Alexandria, Louisiana at Rapides Regional Medical Center. Lillie was born to the late Roosevelt Harvey, Sr. and Ella Louise Norris Harvey in South Bend, Indiana.


Lillie was baptized at a young age and attended St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Reverend Laney B. Young where she served in the choir and on the usher board. She continued to serve under the leadership of the late Rev. Morris Williams and Joseph Humphrey Sr. until the closing on the doors of the St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church in 2005.


Lillie received her high school diploma from Bolton High School in May 1980. While there, she participated in the FHA. She loved cooking and caring for others and did it with much compassion. She was formerly employed as Direct Care staff for Alternative Concepts of Ball, Louisiana before retiring due to her health.


Lillie was preceded in death by her father Roosevelt Harvey, Sr. and mother, Ella Louise Norris Harvey.


Her paternal grandparents, Henry and Irma Bradley; Her maternal grandparents, Abe and Lillie Brown Norris and Robert and Sarah Norris, Sr.; sister, Wanda Harvey; brother, James E. Harvey and two infant children.


She leaves to cherish her memory: her daughter Ebony Danielle Reed, son James Edward Reed, Sr. both of Alexandria, LA, brother, Roosevelt Harvey, Jr. of Alexandria, LA and 2 sisters, Pamela Ann Harvey of Alexandria, LA., and Min. Clara Denise Harvey Franklin (Stanley) of Simmesport, LA. Grandchildren: Den’Trelle Reed, Dennis Starks, Jr., Ala’Shia Starks, Ja’Mya Reed, James Reed, Jr., Jaylen Reed, Ja’Liyah Reed and Ja’Mauri Brewer. Her aunt, Lula Lathan (Donald), uncles, William Frank Norris and Norman Norris (Linda) all of Alexandria, LA., and a host of nieces, great-nieces, nephews, great-nephews, cousins,

family and friends.
