Linda Faye Sanders

Services for Linda Faye Sanders will be at 11:00a.m. on Saturday, June 6, 2020 at Mt. Hermon Baptist Church, 9151 Hwy 1, Boyce, LA.  Pastor Dale Sanders, Jr. will be officiating.  Interment will be in Bushnell Cemetery, Bayou Clear Road, Woodworth, LA.

Mrs. Sanders, 61, of Woodworth, LA, passed away on May 27, 2020 at CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital.  Linda was born on April 20, 1959 in Pineville, LA as the second child of six.  She was raised in Woodworth, LA, then later moved to Alexandria, LA, where she currently resided.  Linda was baptized at an early age under the leadership of Rev. Theodore Simon.  She had a passion for getting everyone together.  She worked as a cook, environmental services, and a care giver to many.  She faithfully took care of her mom until death.  She loved spending time with her husband, kids, and grandkids.  Linda cooked for everyone.  She had a heart of love.  

Linda is preceded in death by her father: Oneal Johnson, Sr., grandparents: Albert E., Dave Johnson and Beulah, siblings: James and Carolyn Johnson, dear cousin/sister: Sheila Williams.

Linda leaves to cherish her memories – husband: Dale Sanders, Sr., daughters: Christina Denise Sanders (Traymond), Rosa Sanders Ford (Andre), God daughters: Janesha Sanders and Addison Coty, sons: Christopher Johnson (Mary), Pastor Dale Sanders (Joy), godson: Davion Atkins, mother: Mary Louise Johnson, brothers: Danny Johnson (Tamara), Oneal Johnson, Sr., sister: Rosa White (Curtis), 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
