Viewing for Linda Slaughter will be from 9:00a.m. – 10:00a.m. on Wednesday, June 3, 2020, at Robinson Family Mortuary, 1815 Military Hwy, Pineville, LA. Interment will be in New Pilgrim Baptist Church Cemetery, Eola, LA. Rev. William Dearbone will be officiating.

Mrs. Slaughter, 65, of Alexandria, LA, passed away on May 24, 2020 at Rapides Regional Medical Center. She was a retired loving, caring, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend that had a heart of gold. Linda was born on February 10, 1955 at Huey P. Long Medical Center, Bunkie, LA. She is preceded in death by her mother: Nanie Voorhies, father: Luther Johnson, sister: Feliska Johnson, brother; Luther Johnson, Jr., and sister: Alice Johnson.

Linda leaves to cherish her memories – daughters: Lakeeshia Slaughter, Natrina Slaughter, Chinquinta Slaughter (Micheal), and Christina Slaughter, brothers: John Johnson, Arthur Johnson, Leo Johnson, and Robert Johnson, sisters: Susie Mae Johnson, Sarah Johnson, Jones, Brenda Johnson, Betty Johnson, and Mary Johnson, along with 13 grandchildren.
