Love Johnson, Jr.

Services for Love Johnson Jr. will be at 11 a.m. on January 3, 2023 at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, with Pastor John L. Jones officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories cemetery under direction of Robinson Family Mortuary.

Mr. Love Johnson Jr, age 96, of Alexandria La entered eternal rest on December 16, 2023 at Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital.

Mr. Johnson was a well-known bounty hunter.

He is preceded in death by his parents Gertrude and Love Johnson, wife, Rosa Lee King, sisters; Mary Lou Dabney (Aaron) Gertrude and Rainey, Lubertha and Ellen Johnson; brothers: Louis and Charlie Johnson, sons; Albert, Billy, Orban and James King.

He is survived by four daughters: Linda Faye Harvey Sr. (James), Adeline Chatman, Annie Whipple. Angela Williams (Terry), three sons; Clyde Earl King, Lionel King, and David Dorsey.
