Services for Macarthur Watkins will be at 11:00a.m. on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at Trinity Baptist Church, 1253 Kateland Road, Colfax, LA. Rev. Huey Tademy will be officiating. Interment will be in Cruikshank Cemetery, Colfax, LA.
Mr. Watkins, 78, of Colfax, LA, passed away on June 23, 2020 at Hilltop Nursing Home, Pineville, LA.
Macarthur is preceded in death by his wife of 43 years: Alice Ruben Watkins, son: Rod Watkins, parents: Lizzie Baines Wicker and Roosevelt Watkins, 2 sisters: Cora Mask & Mary Watkins, 2 brothers: Robert Watkins & Arthur Watkins, nephew: Arthur Watkins, Jr.
Macarthur leaves to cherish his memories – daughter: Tedra Watkins Scott, son: Macarthur Watkins, Jr. (Tina), brothers: Freddy Watkins (Ruby), sisters: Lillie Murphy (Eddie) and Judy Malvero (John), grandchildren: Calen Watkins, Kaylee Scott, Adrian Rodriguez, Cedrick Watkins, Derrick Smothers, Laken Reed, and Johnique Perot, 6 great grandchildren, brother-in-law: Kizer Ruben and sister-in-law: Betty Ruben.
